Chuck
Charles Richter, Jr., PhD is an energy systems consultant with experience in deregulated energy and transmission markets,
trading systems, energy management systems, and energy settlement systems. He has participated in and/or led technical teams with project
delivery and integration, proposal responses and requirements specification, software product development, mathematical modeling,
optimization, and market simulation software systems, and product testing and tuning.
Chuck grew up on a farm in South Dakota as part of a large family. In the early 1990s, he worked at a nuclear power plant and
then at an evironmental engineering firm before going back to college for his MS and PhD in Electrical Engineering at Iowa State University.
